You say you’re a learning organization? I say, “show me.”
- Show me your learning library.
- Show me how you celebrate failure.
- Show me your mentorship program.
- Show me what you are learning right now.
- Show me your leadership development plan.
- Show me your conference and seminar budget.
- Show me your track record of promoting from within.
- Show me the next classroom training on the calendar.
- Show me your individual employee development plans.
- Show me how much time your people train during work.
- Show me your company training plan for soft and hard skills.
- Show me your feedback and performance management system.
Saying that you are a learning organization is easy. But what you do is who you are. So, if you’re not doing the things that learning organizations do, you’re not a learning organization.
