If you don’t know your ideal client – intimately know them – then I can tell you this: your marketing sucks.
Your marketing should reflect the language of your ideal customer. They see it and think, “Wow! They help people like me.”
But the best marketing speaks to who your ideal client wants to BECOME. It shows them the transformation they desire and how you help them achieve it.
You can only market like that if you know everything about them:
– Their worries and fears.
– Their stalls and excuses.
– Their struggles and pains.
– Their dreams and desires.
– Their true and false beliefs.
– Their past successes and failures.
– What they want to learn from you.
– Their challenges and opportunities.
– Their 1, 3, and 5-year vision for their business.
– How their typical day differs from their perfect day.
– What stands between them and their desired transformation.
– And, how they think about you in relationship to everything on this list.
If your ideal client sees all of this in your marketing, new business won’t be a problem.
If they see none of it, your marketing sucks.
