The Event for Leaders who want to Love their Work

On October 7, the Sioux Falls Orpheum Theater becomes the room where great leaders get better.

The Love the Work Event is a full-day experience built around the two things that separate thriving businesses from struggling ones: culture and customer experience. And this year, we’ve assembled a speaker lineup that is, frankly, hard to believe is coming to Sioux Falls.

Jon Gordon is one of the most sought-after voices in leadership and culture in the world. He’s worked with championship teams and elite organizations. Shep Hyken is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, a National Speakers Association Hall of Fame member, and the go-to expert on customer loyalty and experience. Jason VanRuler — back by popular demand — brings a therapist’s depth and a leader’s practicality to self-awareness and authentic leadership.

These aren’t motivational speakers. They’re practitioners who will hand you frameworks you can use Monday morning.

This is exactly the work Locals Love Us was built around — helping businesses build cultures people love and experiences customers can’t stop talking about. Love the Work isn’t a side project. It’s the mission, made into a day.

After our last event, one local business owner told us:

“My employees like the event and universally had positive things to say about it. If you do it again, we will send more people next time!”

We did it again. And this one is bigger.

Doors open at 9:00 AM, sessions run through 4:00 PM, and a cocktail hour follows. Tickets are $399 per person.
